Install SSL certificate on Ubuntu 20.04 using Certbot
First you make sure you have a virtual host file for your domain. In my case I have /etc/apache2/sites-available/
www
.conf
Step 1 — Installing Certbot
- $ sudo apt install certbot python3-certbot-apache
- Step 2 — Allowing HTTPS Through the Firewall
- $ sudo ufw allow 'Apache Full'
- $ sudo ufw delete allow 'Apache'
Step 3 — Obtaining an SSL Certificate
$ sudo certbot --apache
